Abstract In order to realize the sustainable development of manufacturing industry and improve the development level of industrial structure in Anhui province in China, to make a dynamic measurement on the carbon emission efficiency of manufacturing industry from 2009-2015 with DEA-Malmquist analysis, the results show that: in recent years, the rising trend of carbon emission efficiency of manufacturing industry in Anhui Province is not obvious, and in which technical progress is the main factor affecting the efficiency of carbon emissions.
