Abstract Two new cadinane-type sesquiterpenoid glycosides, dryopteristerpeneA (1) and dryopteristerpeneB (2), were isolated from the aqueous extract of Dryopterisfragrans. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic data analysis and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculations. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibited inhibition on nitric oxide production in lipopolysaccharide induced RAW 264.7 macrophages with their IC50 values of 60.5 and 59.8 μM, respectively. Graphical Abstract
