Abstract A new cyclic peptide selapeptin B (1), together with one known nor-lignan glycoside moellenoside C (2), was isolated from Selaginella tamariscina. The structures of 1 and 2 were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectral analysis, including 1D, 2D NMR analyses and HRESIMS. Two compounds were evaluated for cytotoxic activities against B16F10, MDA-MB-231, and MDA-MB-468 cell lines by MTT assay. Compound 1 showed the potent activity against B16F10 melanoma cell lines.
