ABSTRACT The article introduces a kind of monodisperse nanoparticles encapsulating nigrosine with about 200 nm diameters. They can be successfully fabricated by swelling the cross-linked monodisperse P(St-MMA-SPMAP). The SEM images clearly show us the distribution and shape of nanoparticles. What's more, we characterize the optical property of the dye doped nanoparticles. The infrared spectrum proves that the nigrosine is successfully embedded into PS nanoparticles.
