ABSTRACT By constantly trying to change the amount of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS), monodispersed P(St-MMA-AA) colloids with diameters about 211 nm and 221 nm was synthesized successfully using emulsion polymerization. The colloidal crystal template was prepared by co-assembly of P(St-MMA-AA) microspheres and SiO2 sol. Finally, the P(St-MMA-AA) microspheres were calcined by the calcination method to prepare the macroporous ordered inverse opal structure materials.
