ABSTRACT Let be a polynomial set with generating power series of the form and satisfying, for , the -order recursion , where is an integer, is a complex sequence not identically null, and for all negative integer n. We show that is the monomial of degree d+1 and give the expression of by means of the generalized hypergeometric series.
