ABSTRACT A sonochemical technology for separating oil sludge or oil-contaminated soil using ultrasonic equipment has been developed, and its trial tests have been performed at the industrial facility site of LUKOIL-Uralnefteprodukt LLC (a subsidiary of LUKOIL) in Samara. The results have shown the high efficiency of using the developed sonochemical technology in the purification of oil sludge and oil-contaminated soil. The mobile variant of the use of a sonochemical technology for separating oil sludge and oil-contaminated soil has also been developed that has such advantages as mobility, autonomy, low operating expenditure, and a high efficiency.
