ABSTRACT We argue here, that the reopening of schools and the return of school members and students to (real) educational settings should be accompanied by greater efforts to manage teachers and students’ emotions effectively and profoundly. School leaders should support their staff in coping with a sense of loneliness and frustration many of them have experienced during this period and thereby encourage them to manage their emotions in classrooms and support their students similarly.
