ABSTRACT An instructor of collegiate Rhetoric and Composition courses uses practitioner action research to study the effects of curriculum centered around Expressive Arts techniques. The instructor used narrative analysis to view individual participant results and found that the curriculum had therapeutic effects for participants that ranged from relaxation to introspective reflections of emotions.
