Abstract The possibility of electrons transfer control by a protein-like nanowire, as a component of the metabolic process, was investigated. The research was carried out in order to access the potential for a positive effect of ATP molecules on the synthesis. The correlation of the nanocurrent dependence on a magnetic field was obtained. It makes it possible to determine the conditions which the synthesis of ATP may be blocked. The threshold value of the magnetic field induction and the corresponding value of magnetic field intensity were calculated. The results of calculations are consistent with experimentally observed results.
