ABSTRACT In this paper, the conformable sub-equation method is proposed to construct exact solutions of the space-time resonant nonlinear Schrödinger equation (R-NLSE). Conformable derivatives are described by Atangana's-conformable derivative. Some soliton solutions are constructed under some constraint conditions. The solutions obtained confirm that the conformable sub-equation method is a powerful an efficient technique for analytic treatment of a wide variety of nonlinear conformable partial differential equations in mathematical physics.
