primarily a human organism, but a phenomenologically denser and richer being. Narrative theories put the focus, similarly to the virtue theory framework proposed by Fabiano, on the importance of the personal and biographical characteristics of subjects. At the same time, they emphasize the relational condition of personal identity, the fact that our personal identity only arises and is maintained in close and continuous human interaction. It is through others, through practices and institutions that our narrative identity is shaped and sustained (Taylor 2004, 23–25). As I began by saying, I think that the proposal of the article would fit much better with these theories on personal identity. In any case, the article is a valuable discussion on moral enhancement’s foundations. This movement or philosophical current is an ongoing and relatively recent project which, of course, admits I would say demandsdiscussions such as the one proposed by Fabiano.
