This paper deals with experimental investigation on effect of percentage of reinforcement and wire EDM process parameters such as pulse on time and peak current on metal removal rate and surface finishof aluminium matrix composites AA6063-TiC. The experiments are carried out using Taguchi techniqueL16 orthogonal array and regression models are developed for establishing the relationship of machining parameters and reinforcements on metal removal rate and surface roughness. From this study, we found that 6% of TiCreinforcement and wire EDM process parameters such as 0.9 μsec pulse on time and 25 amps peak current are necessary to attain higher MRR withsuperiorsurface finish to accuratelymachine AA6063-TiC reinforced composites.
