Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP) can be challenging to diagnose, and both under- and misdiagnosis are common. Eftimov et al. review the main diagnostic pitfalls associated with the various diagnostic modalities used in CIDP, and discuss the potential of newer tests such as nerve ultrasound.
