Light pollution can disrupt animal health and behaviour; however, its effects on aquatic invertebrates are poorly understood. We found that unnatural light at night had no effect on heart rate or activity in Caribbean spiny lobster, suggesting this species and its fisheries may be somewhat resilient to light pollution.
