The third panelist will provide a brief overview of key scientific issues and discuss how uncertainty is quantified for different parameters, incl. factoring in socioeconomic dimensions and considerations for the European and global economy contributing to decision-making related to the proposal of the Digital COVID Certificate (DCC). The broader macroeconomic perspective given its implementation, as well as potential mitigating measures to assert implementation will not further contribute to exacerbating socioeconomic inequalities will be presented. Special mention will be made to the role of various determinants and on how potential inequities stemming from this measure can be further addressed.
