Differential diagnosis of sternal masses in migrant patients should include tuberculosis. Imaging characteristics on CT-scan and MRI are of great interest. Sternal tuberculous abscess exhibits a slightly hyperintense rim on T1-weighted precontrast images that can be associated with osteomyelitis of the sternum.
