INTRODUCTION Studies in the breast cancer literature have demonstrated that recurrence rates after surgery and adjuvant whole-breast irradiation differ based on tumor subtype. The hypothesis of this study was to clarify the relationship between tumor biology and dose in patients undergoing stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) for breast cancer brain metastases (BCBM).
