available at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30605691 Editorial Comment: Patients undergoing surgical treatment for penile fracture between January 2014 and August 2017 were followed for at least 6 months. A total of 58 patients with a mean age of 38.5 years (range 18 to 66) were included. Eight patients (13.7%) complained of penile curvature following surgery. Postoperative erectile function was recovered after 6 months in 50 cases (86.2%). Persistent erectile dysfunction developed in only 1 patient after the last evaluation at 18 months. Psychosexual evaluations showed that 45 patients (77.5%) feared a new episode of penile fracture. Changes in sexual habits, such as avoiding vigorous sexual intercourse, were reported by 40 patients (68.9%). Patients with performance anxiety and those who reported a negative impact on sexual life were more susceptible to development of erectile dysfunction (p[ 0.0337 and p[ 0.0418, respectively). Very interesting data.
