In the response letter to the editor that appeared on page 243 of the May/June 2017 issue, the authors have noted an error in the reference citations. The following reference should have been cited, instead of the Benzon et al reference. Starrels JL, Becker WC, Weiner MG, et al. Low use of opioid risk reduction strategies in primary care even for high risk patients with chronic pain. J Gen Intern Med 2011;26(9):958-964.
