3D virtual surgical planning provides surgeons with new tools to precisely prepare complex spine procedures. The accuracy of 3D-printed drill guides was quantitatively analyzed using 3D deviation measurements and confirmed accurate screw positions. The guides can effectively be used for safe and accurate pedicle and lateral mass screw insertion.
