In the linked Chinese Clinical Trials Registry entry (2), however, the registry applicant, secondary sponsor, and source of funding are listed as Shenzhen 999 Medical Trade, a major manufacturer of traditional Chinese medicines. Could the authors clarify this apparent discrepancy? Dr. Hart disclosed that he does not have any potential conflicts of interest.
