1. Wang JF, ChenZC, Cui B, He YD, Yang S, Shen YQ, et al. The impacts separation in more than 3600 public and private hospitals throughout Beijing. The current reform is wide-ranging as it encompasses the cancelation of medicine markups, the introduction of medical service fees (MSF), and the price adjustments of 435 basic medical service items. The reform had multiple goals, including improving the quality of medical services and promoting the more effective use of limited resources. However, one of the major goals of this reform was to remodel hospitals’ income structure within the constraints of the global budget by increasing the prices of items that reflect the value of medical staff and decreasing the prices of items that reflect the value of equipments and drugs.
