A laboratory data search was conducted on all pathology specimens in theAlberta databases between November 2009 and July 2013. The query was performed for specimens with a diagnosis of BCC and involvement of the nipple, areola, or NAC. The electronic charts of patientsmeeting criteriawere reviewed to determine the patient demographics, exact site of the lesion, tumor characteristics, recurrences, lymph node analysis, metastasis, management, and outcome.
