The article, “A Novel Modality for Neck Rejuvenation: A Prospective Multicenter Trial of Percutaneous RadiofrequencyAblation of theCervical Branch of the Facial Nerve” by Rivlin and colleagues, describes a new treatment for the challenging problem of platysma bands. After nearly 2 decades, when so many other innovations have been made in the noninvasive cosmetic arena, it is surprising that new treatment options for platysma bands are scarce. This study suggesting a new noninvasive procedure for platysma bands is long overdue.
