Dr. Kartal and colleagues evaluate the use of longpulsed (1,064 nm) neodymium:yttrium-aluminumgarnet (Nd:Yag) laser for the treatment of nail psoriasis. As dermatologists frequently managing nail psoriasis, we recognize the challenges and limitations of the current treatment landscape and applaudKartal and colleagues for reporting their experience treating nail psoriasis. Albeit in a small series, the published results are promising. We encourage the authors and others to expand on these data so that the results may be validated in a larger study population. In this regard, there are 3 topics that deserve further commentary.
