subjects were defined as having a baseline value of$5. Data were analyzed using the distribution-free signed rank test. The tested null hypothesis assumed no difference between treatment and no treatment. All hypothesis tests were 2-sided and performed at the alpha = 0.05 level. No adjustments to the alpha level were made for the number of significance tests performed. All programming was performed with Statistical Analysis System (SAS; Cary, NC) by James P. Bowman & Associates, LLC.
