Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by painful nodules, abscesses, sinus tracts, andfistulasmost often affecting intertriginous areas. Ultrasound (US) has been shown to be a safe method to detect deeper nodules or tracts that cannot be palpated. This can be useful in a presurgical setting to more precisely map targets for surgery. We present the case of a patient with HS who underwent high-frequency US imaging before surgical intervention to demonstrate the benefit of preoperative US.
