In this issue of Dermatologic Surgery, Drs. Gregory, Humphrey, Chuhara, Ogilvie, and Fabi elegantly demonstrate that patients undergoing combined multimodal treatment with neuromodulator, filler, and energy-based therapy on the same day have a superior retention rate to patients undergoing monotherapy with neuromodulator alone and a superior retention rate to patients undergoing sequential multimodal treatment with the 3 types of therapies received over the course of a 1-year period. The authors conclude that patients are more likely to return to the clinic for additional aesthetic procedures when multiple treatment modalities are used during a single visit, highlighting the importance ofmultimodal therapy for both the patient and the treating physician.
