Whereas in Table 2, where multivariate logistic regression analysis was done, IVCCI was specified as a number (<1.2) and the IVC : Ao index was expressed as a percentage (>44.7%). This is in contrary to the standard practice of expressing IVCCI as a percentage and IVC : Ao index as a number. Moreover, the range of values against IVCCI and the IVC : Ao index vary enormously between the two tables in the study. This raises concerns about the odds ratio, confidence intervals and P values mentioned against either index. This is of special significance as it relates to the primary objectives, and conclusions of this study.
