ardiac rehabilitation (CR) is an exercise-and education-based intervention that improves clinical and functional outcomes for patients with cardiovascular disease. Though traditionally provided in outpatient facilities, new models of CR delivery (eg, synchronous virtual CR) have been developed. Virtual CR is an emerging option that uses digital technologies such as audio-visual communication and wearables to deliver real-time, clinician-monitored, personalized CR programs. 1 Digital technologies supporting the incorporation of robust biometric data and other lifestyle factors into CR programs continue to advance. Virtual CR has the potential to improve accessibility to this clinically effective intervention, and a growing body of evidence demonstrates comparable outcomes with virtual CR; 2-4 however, national uptake has been low. The objective of this study was to describe this emerging population of virtual CR utili-zers among Medicare beneficiaries
