Supplemental Digital Content is Available in the Text. We investigated the use of a novel device, the ‘Posterior Chamber Maintainer’, during wound closure on patients undergoing repeat vitrectomies. The device was safe and effective in preventing hypotony. Without the PC Maintainer, 88% of repeat PPVs encounter transient hypotony compared with 0% when the device was used.
