TMC. The calibration was assessed by plotting the predicted to the post-operative 3 months TMC. RESULTS: Surgical technique of varicocelectomy was performed by 3 techniques (laparoscopic 20 cases, inguinal approach 30 cases, microscopic subinguinal approach 250 cases). Predictive performance of the externally validated TMC nomogram by Pearson correlation coefficient revealed (R[0.328; 95% Confidence interval (CI) 0.220-0.435; P<0.01). Compared to the Samplaski`s nomogram result (R[0.581; CI 0.186-0.729), our study also revealed statistically significant rate. However, it had relatively lower correlation coefficient rate and predicted TMC was higher compared to observed postvaricocelectomy TMC. The calibration plot for TMC revealed that agreement between the predicted TMC and observed TMC was plausible. CONCLUSIONS: This external validation of the postvaricocelectomy Samplaski`s nomogram reveals relevant accuracy to predict post-varicocelectomy TMC. However, the nomogram which predicted TMC relatively showed higher count compared to observed post-varicocelectomy TMC.
