preference in acute life-threatening tracheobronchial obstruction with radiolucent foreign bodies. In addition, rigid bronchoscopy provides better grasp for fragmented, partially absorbed or macerated pills as seen in our case, making it the procedure of choice in such cases. Untreated non–life-threatening cases may get complicated by evolving airway obstruction from secretions, edema, and stenosis.9 A follow-up in 3–6 months with repeat imaging may be required to look for the resolution of the abnormal radiologic findings.
