Abstract Hemangiomas of the head and neck are common benign tumors usually in childhood. They are rarely seen in hard palate. The authors present a geriatric patient with abundant hemorrhage due to a capillary hemangioma of the hard palate. Management and treatment approaches of this rare, urgent, and life-threatening situation is discussed.
