Reply: We would like to thank our colleagues for their insightful comments on our article, in which we analyzed the incidence and risk factors for a pathological positive resection margin (pCRMþ) in cases recorded on the International TaTME registry, and created a prediction model for obtaining a pCRMþ after TaTME. We welcome the opportunity to further reflect upon and respond to the methodological concerns brought forward by Felsenreich et al:
