This is the last issue under the present team’s Editorialship and we would like to thank our dedicated readership, authors, reviewers and the members of the Editorial Board sincerely for their support and encouragement. Over the last three years, we were able to steadily improve and strengthen POI’s scientific content leading to its wider recognition in the field of rehabilitation. This increased recognition is reflected by more than a 100% rise in manuscript submissions and a significant growth in terms of the diversity of the material submitted. The recent increase in impact factor is also reflective of some of these improvements. We also transitioned the Journal from a manual to a contemporary on-line submission system that – despite initial hiccups – proved to be beneficial in streamlining the process for all involved: authors, reviewers, managing and production editors, printers and us, the Editorial Team. In addition, the Associated Editors worked tirelessly to recruit new reviewers enlarging our reviewer pool significantly allowing for a better fit between experts and the manuscript under review. With this issue, we are handing over to the new Editor, Dr. Sarah Curran and her team and we wish her good luck and great success for the future!
