This paper aims to propose an improved method capable of designing a sampled-data control for linear systems. To this end, a refined two-sided looped functional method is proposed such that the chosen Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional can contain more input-delay-dependent state information based on the two-sided sampling interval. Furthermore, two novel zero equality constraints are introduced to strengthen the relationship between the input-delay-dependent states and the current states. Finally, through two illustrative examples, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by comparing the maximum allowable sampling interval and computational complexity with other existing methods.
