In this letter, a cooperative cognitive radio network, in presence of an eavesdropper, is considered that operates in a frame structure comprising of energy harvesting, spectrum sensing and cooperation or opportunistic data transmission. The objective is to maximize the sum secondary throughput under the constraints of sensing reliability, harvesting energy causality, primary user cooperation data rate, secondary data outage, sum and individual secondary secrecy outage. Results show a gain in sum throughput ~25.43% over the existing work.

Keywords: maximization cooperative; cooperative cognitive; radio networks; cognitive radio; throughput maximization
