This letter proposes a handover strategy for the links between satellites and gateway stations based on weighted bipartite graph in low earth orbit (LEO) satellite networks. To maximize the overall communication quality and balance the load of satellite networks, a maximum weight matching method is investigated by using Kuhn-Munkres (KM) algorithm. Then, we enhance KM algorithm, which is more suitable for the scene of satellite handover, and employ multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology to further improve communication quality. Finally, we derive the achievable rate and validate the proposed handover strategy.
