A compact planar crossover with four intersecting channels is proposed. By using two cascoded rings, the crossover with eight ports is constructed. The derived electrical lengths and selected impedance ratio between the interconnected lines and the outer ring are also used to achieve the desired central frequency. The measured and theoretically calculated results match well so that the feasibility of the proposed circuit is validated.
