This letter presents a new wideband filtering balanced-to-unbalanced out-of-phase power divider (PD) based on a hybrid microstrip/slotline structure. Not only the common-mode signals have been naturally rejected by the slot, but also the filtering differential-mode to single-ended power division is realized. The synthesis method for the proposed PD with desired passband performance is developed to guide the design. The good performance and the consistency between the simulation and measured results verify the design theory.
