We experimentally demonstrated a one-span 100-km transmission of 64Gbaud/DP-16QAM signal using a state-of-the-art InP-based coherent transmitter and receiver, a 1-sample/symbol DAC without pulse shaping, and a 1.25-sample/symbol ADC/DSP. Various system performance penalties related to the low over-sampling rates have been investigated.
