At present, there is little research on the influence of temperature on the dielectric wetting behavior of liquid. Variations in temperature will modify the physical properties of the lens filling liquid, such as viscosity and surface tension, leading to errors in liquid lenses based on the electrowetting effect for focusing. To solve this problem, a method based on capacitance detection is proposed. This method ingeniously uses the capacitance system inside the lens. When the voltage or temperature acting on the conductive liquid is changed, the capacitance formed by liquid curved surface will also change accordingly. The experimental results show that the method proposed in this letter can effectively reduce the effect of temperature on the zoom of the liquid lens, which provides a new idea for the accurate zoom of the liquid lens in the variable temperature environment.
