Circular filter bank multicarrier with offset quadrature amplitude modulation (C-FBMC-OQAM) is one the recently introduced waveforms, which has shown promising characteristics to accommodate the requirements of future communication systems. In this letter, we analytically delve into some interesting properties of C-FBMC-OQAM waveform and, in particular, prove that the real and imaginary parts of the demodulated subcarrier signals carry exactly the same information. Hence, ignoring the imaginary part of the demodulated subcarrier signals does not incur any loss of information.
