Employer branding is recognized as an important strategy for businesses.1 An employer brand describes a firm's reputation as a place to work and its value proposition to current and potential employees.2 Employer branding encompasses a firm's effort to develop and manage an employer brand and communicate to existing and prospective staff members that it is a desirable place to work.3 A strong employer brand and effective employer branding enable an organization to differentiate itself from other employers competing for talent and attracting and retaining high-quality employees.4
