A system to distribute synchronization signals via geostationary satellite has been developed. This system uses a satellite in geostationary orbit without the need for dedicated bandwidth. A prototype has been developed using SDR-technique to validate part of the system. Preliminary measurements were carried out at Telespazio Fucino Space Centre through the Eutelsat 33E satellite. Results show a wander no larger than 100ns peak-to-peak.
