In this brief, a new method for current and voltage sensing in power electronic converters is demonstrated. This concept, which uses the converter’s own electromagnetic interference, associates an electromagnetic field characterization method and the inverse Fourier transform. These two combined with a circuit analysis allow the prediction of the needed parameters to achieve the current programed control chosen here. Results obtained on a Buck converter show the feasibility of this concept.
