In this brief, an in-phase dual band Filtering Power Divider (FPD) based on terminated coupled lines is proposed. The design equations are developed for the analysis of the proposed power divider and design studies are provided to investigate the proposed design. The prototype dual-band FPD operating at 4.11 and 6.56 GHz with −3 dB fractional bandwidths of 4.13% and 1.22% is simulated, fabricated, and tested. Finally, the measured results show that insertion losses (ILs) are better than 0.8 dB and 1.8 dB at 4.11 GHz and 6.56 GHz, respectively. Also, this FPD has good characteristics such as 22 dB and 17.3 dB input return losses (RLs) and isolation of 17 dB and 26 dB at two passbands. Results indicate that the new FPD exhibits both good isolation and low insertion loss within the two passbands. The two output signals are in-phase across the whole band with less than 0.5° phase difference.
