2. Training and Resources The majority of survey respondents were interested in completing an online module on breastfeeding and medications, about 1–2 hours in length. Focus groups clarified that professional development is also desired in three other areas: • The role pharmacists can play in the initiation and sustainability of breastfeeding practices. • Current best practice for breastfeeding and medications. • The risks, benefits and best practice guidelines around formula feeding and the sale/display of associated merchandise.
